Milk tank detergent

    Which detergent do you use to brush wash your milk tank, using iosan-d and it seriously burns your eyes when mixed with hot water.

    Hydrosan for me. I find iodine based detergents are hard on the chest

    Same here,eyes and nose running for ages after coming into contact with it.
    Is it liquid or powder hydrosan that you use?

    I just use the old Bucket Plant Cleaner ..... seems to work for me. What do ye use to wask out the milk lines ? How often Hot/Cold and amount of stuff used ??

    Wash machine with hydrosan, hot wash machine every second day.
    TBC 5-10k wondering if i change wash routine will the tbc change, maybe i should suffer in silence. :rolleyes:

    If your detergent is affecting your eyes you should change it
