TV provider

I want some advice on this, I'm currently with a TV provider (no choice in using them as they were awarded the contract for the apartment block I'm in)

While it's not the worse but it's not the best either, I've raised various issues with them before. and still not getting 100% from my provider

1 of the main issues is when i go to set recording via online it doesn't record also when i'm on the provider's site it states that my box is turned off and it may not record (it's always on) when i do select to record it works sometimes,

I've been told they are working on the problem, this has been an on going issue with the for the last few years. last year I contact the managment with various other issues, i got a mail back and they said they'll work on the issues and gave me a month free.

Is there anyone outside this provider I can contact?

i can't get Sky in my apartment as managment company say they've not got the funds further more even if I break the law and put one up myself i can't get it due to signal problem.

I don't want to name the provider just yet if you need to know if mods allow it I will

If a few of you in the block band together you could put up a communal dish on the roof and connect it into the already existing magnet wiring. I'm not sure how much this costs though.

That would allow you to get Sky or even better get freesat/free-to-air tv and avoid monthly subscriptions.
