Changing wheels

    Thanks in advance
l have been suffering numerous buckled rear wheels and have decided the wheel itself must be the problem. However l have 2 spare wheels from my backup bike and decided these are more robust.
Will l experience any problems as these wheels are about 1 inch bigger than those already on the bike, both bikes are hybrids and l guess the gearing is slightly different.
should this be easy or a hassle ? should l just buy a new wheel? how much do they cost?

If you want to know if it's a problem, define bigger.
Obviously, if the diameter of the wheel is larger, you're likely to have a problem.
If the wheel is too wide at the axle to fit in the opposite rear triangle, or if the rims are too large for the brakes, you'll have a problem.
If you don't have a similar number of gears on each back wheel, the chain is likely to be the wrong width, but in any case, a new chain is 20 EUR.
If if the largest cog on the back wheel is significantly different on each bike, the chain is likely to be too long or too short. You can shorten it if it's too long, but not the inverse.

    Otherwise, it will probably work.
New wheels start at about 40 EUR
