Have a meeting in Drumshanbo on thursday at 10 am, and of course i'm one of the few with no personal transport. Anyone have an idea if there is a bus at that hour. Or, even what the going rate for a taxi is ?

There doesn't even seem to be a rural/ community bus.

Only bus between Carrick on Shannon and Drumshanbo seems to be the Bus Éireann route 469 on a Saturday (a minibus operated by Fureys on contract anytime I've seen it):

    I know Geog1234, its slightly disheartening. :(
But have to say taxi drivers in carrick are very helpful. If they couldnt do the run, they know someone that can. :D
