    Hi Lads & Lassies,
I've been thinking over the last few years of letting off some Grey Partridges in our area. Does anyone know where I can get some poults or grown birds? There is a crowd in England that sells eggs but I'm not sure if they will ship them. It's only the grey partridge I'm looking for not the redleg .
    Cheers

there are a few ads on donedeal at the minute that might be worth checking out.
not to tell you your business but i believe it's very hard work to try get partridge to stay in any area. habitat is key and a lot of preparation work needs to be done. one thing they need is long good quality strips of 'beetle banks' and decent cover too. i'm sure there are plenty of sources of information on line better than what i have said.

My mates dad is involved in the conservation work with the grey partridge that's going on here in Offaly ( he was actually on RTE1 yesterday talking about them). I'll speak to him and see what info I can get for ya.
