carbon road fork for clydesdale

    Looking at getting a carbon fork but wondering what would be a good one for a heavyweight? Budget is 350

    Why don't you consider something with an aluminuim steerer tube like an easton ec70...? Should prove be far more durable that a fork with a carbon steerer tube..If you don't intend racing up alpine passes, then the weight difference is pretty negligible...

    They are only €150 in chain reaction cycles..

    I have a La Pierre 400r frame complete with an Eaton EC70 for sale for not much more than than 150 that chain reaction would charge you just for the fork....

    I read before that some heavier Planet X SL Pro riders had changed the standard fork to a Easton EC70 because the PX fork caused a wobbly front end in high speed decents.
    So it must be a decent fork for a heavier rider.
