Improving lights on a passat

Hi all, Has anyone used a xenon lighting upgrade
for a passat 01-05. Suppose to be a huge improvement on dims.
How do I know which fitment it is. H1 H2 H3 or H4.

H7 on a passat afaik,I have a 6000k set on my car (ford)and it has vastly improved the standard set up,it won't be to long before someone remind's you it'll fail an nct without headlight washer's and some sort of leveling system.

Dont put HID in your halogen reflector headlamps it causes too much road glare as well as being illegal.

6000k isnt a good colour on dark wet roads 4300k is very close to original halogen bulb colour and had much better visibility in bad weather.

Some of the later models cars came with projectors lenses they can handle HID much better as they control the light output with a very defined cutoff so don't cause glare.
But getting around NCT will be difficult without headlight washers auto leveling system and headlamps that are rated and show the marking for discharge lamps.
