Never use those driver CD's unless you need them to install something like ethernet drivers. Download the latest drivers from the AMD site and that will sort out your resolution not looking right on the TV

You probably don't need all of them but if in doubt install them all.

There should be some guides knocking around for fresh installs of windows.

Get your mainboard, graphics card drivers installed and a good anti virus before you do anythign else.

I'd recommend avast for the AV. It's free and one of the best out there.

Wouldn't bother, you should know the best what programs you need.
Just read descriptions, if you in doubt or don't know what they doing that means you don't need them.

That sounds correct. Just increase the size of the icons.

Set your resolution to match your monitors.

If the screen doesn't fit the tv go into catalyst control center and look for the overscan option. You have to adjust this to get it to fit correctly to fill all of the screen space.

You can adjust the size of text and icons in windows options.

Go to control panel, Appearance and personalization, Display and you can adjust it from there.
