Hi mods-I put up a post earlier about a light box. Its for people who suffer from SAD disorder.

It was moved to the gadgets forum-but they think I am talking about photography and I cant reply anon.

Can you please move back? I think I would get a more appropriate response here.

    Thanks

I had one a few years back.... i'm not sure if it helped me.

I find just getting outside during the day helps as does taking up an outdoor pursuit.

I got a Brazilia light box, pretty pricey but I put it on when my alarm goes off in the morning. Getting ready in the "sunshine" is so much easier than trying to drag yourself out of bed on the pitch black depressing Winter mornings. Helps me anyway.

Are you taking Vitamin D OP? It may not make much of a difference to SAD but it is something that Irish people are generally very short of.
