Can't wait for Puffin Billy tomorrow. Good card at Exeter.

Looking forward to it myself. Melodic Rendevous represents a decent opponent but he needs to put him away to stake his claims for the festival.
Also i think the best bet of the day comes in the Class 2 graduation chase in Harry Topper.
Beat a very game Beneficent last time out who has since won the Irish Arkle.
Before that he beat Rocky Creek who is at the top end of the betting for the RSA.
15/8 might look silly at 3.10 tomorrow.

I'll be doing the same but adding barneys honour to it.
looks interesting running off his chase mark of 102.

Will be very interesting to see how Just a Par goes in the first at Exeter. Former connections thought the world of him and the move to Nicholls will hardly harm him. I expect the Puffin Billy bubble to be burst by Melodic Rendevouz. For my money the Scott horse has the solid form in the book and his Tolworth win has already been franked.

Think the bet of the day has to be You Must Know Me in the 4.10 at Naas. Disappointed last time out but came back lame after the race. The form of his chase debut is rock solid after Boston Bob won again yesterday. He was beaten less then a length by BB that day and they pulled 37L clear of the 3rd horse Competitive Edge who has since gone on and won a handicap chase. Alan Potts bought the horse after his run behind Boston Bob so is obviously highly regarded by H.D.B. Think he really should be beating this field today if he runs up to the form of his debut over fences.. Powers had him priced up at 3/1 early doors but is now a 2/1 shot. Still think he is worth a decent punt at that price.
Cant wait to see Harry Topper run at Exeter today. Could be a superstar over fences. Dont think he is going to Cheltenham though remember reading an interview with Kim Bailey saying the horse was still a bit immature but that he was the best and most exciting horse he has had since his Gold Cup winner back in '95.

Just a par would need to be a class horse to beat many clouds.

A small treble on Oliver Sherwood's runners at Exeter today for me. Many Clouds, Puffin Billy, Rouge et Blanc

Harry Trooper 6/5 now. Good shout Kiers.

Does anyone know how much Just a Par was bought for see he's running in the first at Exeter today. Backed him the day he won his maiden hurdle at Punchestown, really liked the way he did it

That was 260k sterling....madness I think. I can say with absolute certainty though that his former connections thought the absolute world of him. I saw him win his point to point and he showed a great turn of foot. Not sure that it was much of a race but he was impressive. Could have been backed at 2/1 that day and he currently trades around 5/4 to beat a couple of decent enough types so don't think he represents any value at all today. Interestingly I think that the ill fated Brindisi Breeze won the same point to point the previous year in similarly impressive fashion.

    O'Haras is horrible.
Guinness the only stout worth drinking.

    That has you on ignore!

O'Hara's Leann Follain knocks any number of spots off Guinness

Guinness Foreign Extra, now there's a good stout

    Anyway back on topic!

Anyone else notice the rancid ride from McCoy on Colour squadron at Exeter, blatantly schooled around hit a few fences and ran on under hands and heels another one laid out for a handicap.

Someone on twitter posted right after saying te handicapper should give Colour Squadron 160 for that with a little note saying 'try again next year'
