Today's achievements

I'm sure I've seen this thread somewhere but not in After Hours.

Last week I started back into running again after a two-year hiatus. (I was suffering from procrastination.)

Anyway my achievement today is that while more tourists and walkers laughed at my wheezing and struggling as I ran past them, there was more of them out as it's Saturday. Overall the percentage of people laughing at me has dropped as I improve.

    What did you achieve today?

Updated and sent off my CV. Like a fool I only sent it to two places but I am certain that I will get one or the other or may even have my choice of both. You can all laugh if it falls to bits (and I will be back on this thread with an update).

You mean well with this thread and I'm sure you had the best of intentions but the fact is if people were achieving so much they wouldn't be in AH.

Like me. I done absolutely fuk all today. It rained incessantly and it was bitterly cold here in the Youkay

    I got a blog.

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

I trimmed my beard and thus, feel much less manly :( plus my face now feels the horrible cold weather.

Not a lot, watched a dismal game of rugby and hit on a girl at the supermarket. Date sorted for Friday tho. Productive(ish) day all in all.

Cheated death, got a chimney fire, which turned out spread to a roof joist which in turn could have made the chimney unstable falling in on the house, or so the firemen said

Basically, cowboys ted a bunch of cowboys!

I gave myself goals like no Facebook no boards and drink more.

So far off Facebook for 2 days, only posted once yesterday on boards and so far today I've drank 2 pints of beer.

I think I'm doing alright though I feel a Facebook lapse later :(
