What am I entitled to?

    Hi all,

I recently purchased a jacket for my OH from ebay. It was coming from chicago so shipping was almost as expensive as the item. Unfortunately when it arrived it was much larger (fit wise) than I had expected based on measurements and such. The seller is out of stock of all sizes atm so I want to return it for a full refund (of course I will pay for return shipping). However the seller informed me that they will only refund the price of the item and not shipping. In this case it's pointless for me to return the item as I'll basically break even on the return shipping and still be out by the amount I originally paid (item + shipping) .

I read online that regardless of the disclaimers a seller states on their ad, if you return the item within 14 days you are entitled to a full refund plus original shipping. Is this correct? Or is the seller right in this case?

    Thanks :)

When the seller advertises on ebay they have to follow ebay's T&C.
    What do their T&C say?

You could also wash it at the wrong temperature. That would shrink it a bit.

So far I've found information with regards to items not received or items not as described. Would my item fall under the item 'not as described' category?

I've yet to find information about general returns but I'll keep looking.
