    Hi all,

Wasn't exactly sure which forum to use, but I'm looking for recommendations for programs for recording what you are viewing on-screen. I went about half-way through downloading CamStudio, but it seemed there was a ferocious amount of commercial products tagged onto the downloading.

    Any suggestions?

For non games I'd chose Camastia. For games the tool built into MSI afterburner is excellent.

Note: You really want discrete programs for both, recording a DX9/10/11 environment is quite different to recording windows.
