So basically 2 of my mates fell out and one of them asked me to delete the other, i said i did but instead i told the other friend to BLOCK the other guy so it looks like i have defriended him. Now can the other guy see if i do a check in in the local boozer with the other fella, he has him blocked and all his family but the other guy just deleted him as a friend but DIDNT block him
If i check in i Assume it will just say on his facebook ronan45 just checked into _______ and nothing else or will it say "just checked in with "MR BADGUY" else:eek:

No idea. And even if certain settings work today, you have no guarantee that they will still work next week (or whenever) when Facebook change their settings again.

The best facebook security advice I've seen is "If you don't want someone to see something, then don't put it on Facebook".

Other than that, this sounds like a thread for PI ... real friends don't dictate what you can/can't see on FB.

Yes exactly, If you want to hide some stuff from some Facebook users then the best thing is not to upload them. Wellaccording to my knowledge,, if you block someone then you will not get any updates and you will not see any updates from him either.
