a honda or farm machinery dealer would probably have it, quads have CVT transmissions.

Thanks for the input, main dealers would usually be a last resort for me for various reasons, price being the main one. I will try them if I've no luck elsewhere.
AFAIK Honda cars use a different type of CVT to mine and so the fluids aren't compatible, don't know what type the quads use but it's another place I can look.

I didn't expect it to be hard to find with all the CVT driven cars that are around these days. Valvoline, Esso and Redline all make it and I think it can be bought online, just if I could buy it in a shop tomorrow, I'd rather that than wait for a delivery.

I stock this, unfortunatly I'm a main dealer, so probably too expensive for you. If you want some send me a pm and I an give you details.....then again there is also the Japanese or Amercian option !!

Thanks for the offer swarlb, pm sent.

I hope I didn't come across as anti-main dealer, just that parts for this particular car are usually far more expensive from a main dealer than anywhere else.
Price is not the only reason, I'm in Meath, nearest main dealer is in Dublin, just would have thought of CVT fluid as a consumable that I might find more locally.

Opie oils do seem to stock the Valvoline fluid, anyone know what their delivery times are like?

1994 Subaru Vivio. Newer legacys also use a cvt, but I don't think it's the same type, so fluid Subaru supply may not be compatible.

Absolutely no help, but the name vivio is VI VI 0 - as in 660 reference to the engine cc

I'd go main dealer for this based on everything I've read about CVT + AUDI...
It is expensive - about €20 a litre.
Sorry post is a little late...

Blauparts.com might do it a little cheaper?

Only seeing this now, I did mean to update.
I ended up getting Valvoline cvt fluid from opieoils, think it cost about 60 euro for 2 litres inc deliivery. Good service, I'd use them again.
