    Hi all,

I've recently started back to getting fit and trying to tone up.

I'm 5'11 and just under 12 stone and medium build.

A couple of months ago I bought some O.N Creatine Monohydrates and after about 5 or 6 days of use I left it as I wasn't in the position to use it everyday (cut down on exercise due to work commitments) but i'm ready to get back into it now. I have a personal fitness plan just keeping it simple

    Day 1 arms, chest

    Day 2 legs, chest

    Day 3 Back, shoulders

Then i'd do cardio 3-4 days a week (inc the above days 1-3)

I got a couple sample sachets of O.N Whey prtein and i'm thinking of taking them to help recovery ( went to the gym on Tuesday and feeling the pain just this morning in the arms and chest!!!) and to keep the muscle there/tone up different parts of the body.

My main question is - Can I take the protein on my days off? I'm a fitness newbie sorry if it's a stupid question! Should I be taking the shakes everyday?

I've only 4 or 5 of these sample sachets so I didn't know wheter to take them for the next 4/5 days or else ONLY on my next 4/5 times when I exercise (over 7-9 days if you get me)

Do I take the shake post workout only, then have food with high carbs in it?

Sorry for the stupid questions, any feedback would be greatly appreciated :):o

have a look at the stickies, protein shakes are just protein, you take them if you need them, you should have a look at your diet and overall levels of protein.
