little boy sick

im confused again

My son is 9 years old and has been sick since Monday. I brought him to the doctor on Tuesday and he was prescribed an anti-biotic for a throat infection and a chest infection. He is so pale and has very little energy. He doesn't seem to be getting any better. I'll bring him back to the doctor tomorrow or I will bring him for another oppinion. a lot of kids seem to be sick at the moment.

Has anybody got a child that had or has similar symptoms? He doesn't seem to have a temperature but that is probably the calpol that is keeping that down. He just seems so pale and only has half the energy he normally has, less even.
