Things to do before you're 30

This is probably been done before, but it's my birthday tomorrow and I'd like to know what I should be doing, or should have done at this stage of my life. I'm not turning thirty but I'm pretty close. Any lists I've Googled aren't appealing so I'm hoping for some different, if not better suggestions here.

Play handball with a hedgehog. Then bring it out for tea and cake afterwards to apologise

Do whatever you want to do.

And I don't see how age comes into the equation at all.

Are you a chick? - Anal
Are you a guy? - Anal

Seriously, it's a question only you can answer. Why don't you list everything you have done, then we can fill the gaps for you.

Or photoshop yourself into pictures of exciting stuff that you got off the internet to make it look like you have done stuff.

No matter how much you do there'll always be a regret that you didn't do something.Just live they way you want and can and be happy in the knowledge you can't do everything.

Before I would have said travel, adventure, bungee jump etc, but priorities have changed as of late.

Now my main objective is to, before 30, establish a successful business(es) - one which will hopefully work 'for me' after the initial few years graft, and in the process create jobs and give something back to the community and country.

It's not as exciting as some bucket lists, but there ya go.

Celebrity has such a loose meaning these days. Are we talking A-list or Big Brother winners?

    Take a risk.
    Set up a business.
Do that thing that scares and would thrill you.
    Travel, by yourself.
Take time to think about what you really want.
Burn the candle at both ends....

Pick the thing you would like to do, but you are not certain you can. Trying and failing is better than not trying.

    Good luck!

Visit every city with more than 100,000 inhabitants. Every last one of them. I have been doing this for the last 15 years and find it very enjoyable.

    Go naked.

Not, I hasten to add, in the street but rather whilst on some sun kissed beach. It's quite liberating.

Carry on posting on boards.ie, surfing tediously on the web, scratching your nuts, watching TV, since age remains a concept that man has tried to put on infinity, and the sooner you realise this, the quicker the apathy towards your bland existence will make sense with any resultant unfulfilled goals.

Apologies, I'm not implying that life ends at thirty. Right now it's my scary age. From reading the posts I definitely think something I should do before I'm thirty is to change my way of thinking. That would be liberating and I wouldn't be worried about stuff like this :)

Do whatever makes you happy and try to do it as often as you can

Or in front of a national monument, whatever you prefer. Still don't need to be in your twenties though ;)

There is nothing that you have to do before your turn 30, but I think you asked a good question - every now and then it's important to take stock, set goals and take risks. How else do people succeed? Do something that you never thought you could or would do. Surprise yourself. People usually regret the things they didn't do rather than the things they did do.

soon to be 30 myself. Kinda looking forward to it actually and leaving my 20's behind..done everything i needed to do..went on piss up holidays, shagged around for a bit, got stupid haircuts and clothes, acted the fool and hardman. Time to grow up and be a real mature, responsible man who people respect.
