Passport - New Owner

If you buy a pony with a passport, do you have to do any sort of paperwork to show you are the new owner? I don't know because I always bought ponies/ horses with no passports then got them for them myself.

I presume Horse Sport Ireland would have the info. 045 854 550. It's here actually, €15.

THE www.ipsa.ie are issueing passports now for 25 euro and at the back of the passport there is a form you send back to them if you buy a horse or pony from someone
you have to send a fee back with it too.

this organisation also will register animals with no colour bays greys etc for 25euro a special rate at the moment
