Internship and Jobseekers

I have a meeting with a Deciding Officer in 2 weeks to hand in my application for Jobseekers and all the other documents (bank statement, shwoing that I have been applying to jobs etc) but I was offered an unpaid internship today that is not a Jobbridge scheme.

I was just wondering can I still apply for jobseekers and receive jobseekers or will I have to cancel my application because the internship isn't Jobbridge?

If it is not Job Bridge you can't go on Job Seekers. You can apply for the JS until you start the internship but would have to sign off then.

Any reason this can't be done on Job Bridge?

Could the employer do it through jobbridge

I was in the same position. I asked the employer if they could do it through jobbridge and they did

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.
