Insulated Panels on my shed roof....

    Hi folks

I have a shed in the back garden, not too old but it has a slight problem, condensation.! Its not very bad but given that I do a good bit of wood work, its not the best thing to be happening in a shed like this. Only when its very cold though.
Di mentions are roughly 18 feet by 12 and what I want to do is replace the single layer roof with the insulated roof paneling that's available out there. I think its even possible to get seconds with this stuff.
Just wondering if anyone else has done this and is this stuff expensive or what? Any ideas as to where to pick up panels like this in Dublin?

    Thanks a mill

    Rich

I have seen prices on Ebay for about £22 (sterling) per sqm. But Ireland being Ireland companies do not seem that up to speed with the internet and are not putting up prices.

You will need to ring them up to get a quote.

You should also look into other solutions for condensation such as venting.

Would it be more cost effective to stick a layer of light roofing felt on the underside of the existing sheets???

I would definitely look into venting it first.
The insulated sheets mightnt make much of a difference unless you are heating it.

Another option would be to just get non drip sheeting. It's used in work shops and machinery sheds. It's got like a felt backing on the sheeting.
Pic isnt great but you get the idea.
