New club forming in South East.

    On Sunday, 10th February a few of us are holding a meeting in the Boardroom of Gorey Business Park (GBP), Ramstown Road, Gorey at 6.30 pm.

    The meeting is to form an archery club, provisionally named South East Archers.
    It is expected the club will be resident in the GBP. The goal is to have indoor and outdoor shooting facilities. The club will affiliate to, and be insured through, Archery Ireland.

    We already have a few established archers involved and are looking for more.

    Once set up the club will run beginners courses under a qualified coach and assistant coaches.

    Target and field archery and all archery styles will be covered.

    The club will be another venue for archers of the wider area to shoot indoors and socialise together.

    Hi Garrett im very interested in Archery, haven't been for about 5 years now but still have my own equipment, so let me know ASAP when you start.

    Jon and Garbh, the club is up and running now. Our first beginners course is into it's fourth week and we have located an area for use as a field course.

    Some of us were at the Irish Open Field Archery Championships recently and there are photos there of the event.
