    Hi guys.

I'm a 25 year-old (male) experienced singer/rhythm guitarist and am looking to start something new as the covers band I'm in appears to have wound down in recent months. I'm based in Cork city and have a rehearsal space in Blackpool.
I'm looking to form a two-piece in Cork with a like-minded person (male or female) that plays an instrument (preferably keyboards or guitar but try me!) and also sings. I've played in several bands and two-pieces in the past but I've never had much help in the way of vocals, so I'm looking to do something with perhaps a nice bit of vocal harmonies and a good share of lead-vocal duties going to each person. Perhaps start out with a few cover versions with a view to gigging over the coming months, and perhaps working on some original material down the road (though this is not a deal-breaker for me). The types of covers I'd be used to would range from your standard rock songs (Creedence, Lynyrd Skynyrd) to blues (Stevie Ray Vaughan, Rory Gallagher, John Mayer), to soul (Jackie Wilson, Ray Charles, Sam Cooke), up to more contemporary pop stuff by the likes of Paulo Nutini, Amy Winehouse, Gnarls Barkley etc., but frankly I'm very open to suggestion, keyboards could obviously take things in a very different direction - something fresh is what I'm looking for more than anything.

Let me know if you're interested, cheers!

Ever considered going down the front-man for a band route :)

Hi Cormac. I've been down that road three times now, twice in pub covers bands and once in an original metal band! I'd like to hold out for a while and see if I get any replies interested in what I'm looking for, looking for something a small bit more mellow. Listening to your stuff though, very easy on the ears, onto the third track already here and liking it. If my plans fall through, I might put pen to paper and see if I can come up with anything. Best of luck with your search :)
