    Hi,
I just recently lost my job after 7 years and will be applying for JB. Problem is I do not have enough savings to keep living where I am for more than one more month.
Once my application is in with tenancy agreement and utility bill etc is it ok for me to move somewhere cheaper whilst waiting for a decision?
    Thanks for any help

Yes you can move address you will need to inform the office once you have moved (tenancy agreement will do). If you move out of the area you will need to transfer your claim to the new office by attending with photo ID and proof of the new address. JB should be awarded quickly enough as there is no means assessment.

thanks for the reply Sue Ellen. From reading here I was under the impression that even JB is taking months to come through. Don't know what I will do the job loss was unexpected and very little money! I am in D6 by the way, any knowledge on this office will be appreciated

Bishops Square would be your local office.

They have an on line application facility.

I hope you get a speedy turnaround time.
