    Hi

I haven't posted here before but would appreciate some help. I've been looking at a 70s Thinline Tele Japanese made. It's a private sale and the guitar is in almost new condition and doesn't look is its had much use if any, there's a tag with 1981 on it from a shop in the UK.

How do I value it, is it the same quality as Tolai and Greco etc.

I have posted a pic of a similar Fender Thinline

Any info would be greatly appreciated

    Thanks.

were stagg maikng guitars in the 70s?

if so it'll have been out of the same factory as every other budget fender rip off from the same era.

as a stagg it'll be worth less than a squier

don't pay more than you could get a new squier for now.

    (IMHO!!)

A quick sconce over at The trove of telecaster knowledge. would indicate that this Stagg may be part of the Ibanez budget line from the 70's.
