Excel Slash Function

I am receiving an error in a number of cells that I am getting info from using the Slash function. The error is #name, there is nothing wrong with the formula as it worked for the last few days.
I am wondering if I made an error saving the file (using both Excel 2007 & 2010 versions) The file is a XLS file where before it had been a XLSM, macro file. Is there an issue with the Slash function when it is not save as XLSM? I have tried saving the XLS file as a XLSM but it still doesn't work. Is there any way of not starting all over again and somehow converting the file to use the slash function?

    Thanks in advance.

Apologies if this is the wrong forum.

Figured it out, it was a macro problem not transferring after a save.

Mod, please delete this thread, thanks
