Classic Car Insurance for a young driver

I'm looking into buying a new car at the moment, and today I came up with the crazy idea of buying a classic car! I work full time so a mileage restriction wouldn't be a major issue.

However, I have no idea how much a policy would cost for a 20 year old male.

So if anyone has an idea of how much it would cost, please let me know!

The car I would be getting would be something along the lines of a Ford Capri.

    Regards,
    Hugo

Do read the Classic Cars Charter. There's a link to a thread under point 2.

You'd normally have to be insured as the main driver on another car as well.

it would cost the same or more as any other policy as you wont get Classic Insurance.

Think you have to be over 25 for classic car insurance. Also you must have your own policy on a private car, thus your classic car being your second car. Car also must be over 20 years old.

If you buy a Classic car as your only car and as a daily driver, most companies wont insure a car over 15years old and if they do it will about E3000 euro.
