Dual tuner with Freesat epg ?

    I was advised to ask here in the foreign satellite forum.

    I'd like to connect 2 inputs to a receiver. A two box setup is not suitable for this location.

    One input will be Astra 28.8 so I'm look for freesat epg etc.. The other input will be Astra 19.2. Does such a receiver exist?

    Why Dual tuners ? recording purposes ?

    If its not for recording purposes then a single tuner box will work fine with a diseqc switch.

    Freesat I presume for 7 day epg ?

    Humax possibly. Or a Linux box like a VU+Solo/Uno/Duo.

    A humax freesat box can be combined with a DiSEqC switch to automatically switch satellites as required.

    You would need a Freesat or linux based box for 7 day guide on UK channels. Some Freesat boxes have a non freesat mode with DiSEqC which is ideal for what you want.

    You will get 7 day EPG from 28, (Freesat box NOT Free to Air), but only now and next on 19.2.

    I have a Humax Freesat with 28 and 26, 19 and 13. Can record on all but only pre-set 26.

    Most (maybe all?) of the German channels at 19E have 7 day info.

    Same with the few Polish channels there too.
