Fair enough if so - but there is a rule I think which exists also along the line of having a go at other threads from other sections?

Don't those forecasts get lots of thanks because they're generally quite accurate?

That seems more deserving of post of the day than reposting an image from Reddit or a witty quip.

Remember 2010 when Ireland froze over and MET Eireann kept fcuking up the forecast.... well MT Cranium got it right... EVERY GOD DAMN TIME. Show respect to the legend that is MT.

Oh I agree. If it weren't for glib quips my postcount and maybe thankscount would probably be half of what they are.

But if one of my finest thanks-whoring efforts were narrowly beaten by M.T Cranium for Post of the Day, I wouldn't mind.

in fairness it has been brought up in feed back often enough that if it aint MT Cranium weather posts its normally a post from YLYL.

Have a look at thread of the day instead sometimes there's some bizarre ones in that!
