Protein Powder

    Hi,

    Looking for some advice on which protein powder I should buy (brand, how much it is and where to get it to :P)
    I'm after losing weight, still working out doing weights and cardio, don't want to lose any more weight just tone up, not trying to bulk at all though, being a small female. :)
    I have a good diet but want to increase my protein intake. I've seen loads of receipes (mainly for sweet treats) that use protein powder. There are so many on the market that I'm getting a bit lost trying to figure out what would be best for me! Any help would be great.

    Thanks
    x

    I tend to use myprotein it's cheap and if you spend over €90 it's free delivery.
    The protein I use is this one

    Referral code
    MP494592

    I now use The Protein Works as the flavours are a bit better then MyProtein and their customer service is better.

    There is a proteinworks referral thread around here with people's codes. Pick someones code and you get an extra 250g of protein in a different flavour.

    You have excluded the cost of using parcel motel so not really a like for like comparison.

    First two stays are free.

    After that it's 3.50 per stay.

    6.95 = 8e
    1.95 = 2.25e + 3.50 = 5.75. So it's still cheaper.

    You get your stuff delivered to UK address (or NI address) and then Parcel Motel ship it to your local parcel motel station for 3.50.

    There's a thread over in consumer forum all about it.

    Just watch your location. For me, my closest motel is in Limerick. From Tipp so it makes it a trek but I'm there 3-4days a week anyway. But if you're from Cappawhite/More or somewhere like your name suggests you'd spend more on petrol then it would cost to pay full price from DPD, that is unless you're in Limerick often.

    Another option is to go into a store and ask for samples and see what you like so you can make an informed choice on taste etc.

    Just over 33 days if you're taking one 30g scoop a day.

    Depends on how much you use it.

    What is your protein requirements during the day? =A
    what is your current intake? =B
    what is the shortfall to be make up from a powder?=C

    A-B=C

    C will tell you how much powder you need per day and how long a kilo will last.
