OK. Early 70s. Not really known now. But at one stage they had two absolute bona fide global superstars playing with them.

I'm struggling with this one. Anything a bit easier than this clue?

After a bit of investigation, I can only come up with two possibilities.

    The dirty Mac
    Or
    Delaney & Bonnie & friends.

I can explain half of each, but not all

You have to pick one! And yes give your explanation.

Ok, I'll go for Delaney (the Lanni(ster))
    & Bonnie (lass)

You're right! But the Delaney is actually a little more straightforward - that's Irish actor Conor Delaney. :)

For anyone who doesn't know Delaney and Bonnie, check out this clip. You'll spot both Eric Clapton, and George Harrison, in the backing band!

    Go me :)

I was a bit confused as I thought it wasn't a picture of Jamie, the armour was wrong, but i thought it was Game of Thrones. I did check the actors name (Jamies) in case it was Delancey, so I'll take it as a valid gues.

    And now......

I could have been there for three years and would never have got that one from the picture clues. Didn't know the actor and never heard the phrase Bonny before. Maybe if it was a more famous Delaney I might of had a better chance.

Nope, but I must Google them now, with a name like that.

It may be a bit obtuse, but after some of the recent ones ...

They're a band composed of robots. Kinda fun.
