An app/program that rates my photos: has technology advanced this far yet?

(Those of you who have disproportionately passionate views on photography and subjective assessments of photos should perhaps not read this request/suggestion)

I want to choose the photos which are technically my best photos. Rather than spend time trawling through thousands of them I was just wondering - perhaps madly, perhaps naively - is there some app or program that I could download which could rate them in terms of quality?

I wouldn't expect it to be brilliant yet but it could give me suggestions. It could also point out where I went right on a photo, and where I went wrong. If humans can rate photos, surely somebody has developed a program which uses certain criteria to rate photos?

I know the moment I see the shutter move, whether I love that picture or hate it, and rate my own pictures that way. If it was "the one" of that night/day, then I'll remember it, and later I can compare it to my other shots. I don't like the idea of keeping thousands of pictures which I don't know whether I like or not.

I keep them because they are records of times we had and places we've been (I'm not a professional photographer). Most of them don't have to be brilliant, just to conjure up memories. However, now that I'm thinking of putting some of them up on the wall, I'd like to only put the best up and such an app might be handy.
