Nice dress below the knee?

I have my God daughter's Holy Communion coming up in April and I'm looking to get a nice dress for it. But any shop I go in to all the dresses seem to be above the knee so too short for the occasion in my opinion or too long as in maxi length which I'm not too keen on. Has anyone seen any that are below the knee but not down to ankle length? Size 8, don't mind what colour or price really. Thanks!

But a dress to the knee with tights might not be so bad

Try Lk Bennett. They are quite expensive so maybe shop in Kildare village might be worth a look.

I'm not too fond of my upper legs, so I know how hard finding dresses to the knee can be! Most dresses in the shops stop halfway down my thigh.

If you go to asos.com, and put 'midi' as a search filter, you'll get a lot of options. A few of these are just to the knee, but if you're shorter than the model they should cover it! Not sure if any of these will be your taste but here's a selection:

Have to say these are the exact dresses I would have picked out too. I actually own the first one (the lace one!). (not too fond of no.2 or the one-shouldered one but they are still nice, just not me).
I think that the navy or green one (3rd one and 5th one) would be the most appropriate for the occasion. Infact, I totally love the third one (navy one) and am tempted to buy it now after seeing it here!!
