Like the white new livery with the white stripe. Serious change from last year and that goes for all the cars so far, a pretty bunch of machines. Lotus are the only ones with the step so far. Proper excited for new season now.:D

yeah don't like the stepped nose on the lotus, otherwise the colour scheme and designs look really well. the mclaren and ferrari cars look great

I think thats the nicest ferrari livery in years.
Not mad about all the humps and bumps at the back end but a big improvement from last year.

I dont mind the lotus livery but dont like the step nose.
Wonder if after testing if the teams with the modesty panel revert back to the step nose if it proves quicker or vise versa. Hope thats not the case though.

It's hilarious. After I saw that the reveal was by means of "your tweets will open the garage doors" nonsense I thought I'd just take a look after the football. It's over an hour late now and still no car.

I wish they would just do a live broadcast on YouTube. No website crash, no bandwidth problems. Everyone's happy.

Mercedes have tweeted that 'the real W04 is on its way to Spain as we speak'. Does that mean that they are nearly 3 hours late uploading a poxy cgi animation like mclaren have on their site? Weak.

Hamilton also released images of his new lid today, its horrendous.

Obviously those pics are all from different sources but if they're scaled properly the Sauber looks a bit more "squat" than the others. If so I hope it's fast, I want all the cars to look as wide and low as possible. :pac:

Haven't seen any decent pictures yet other than the one below, anyone find any others? Not sure if it's just under certain lighting conditions but there's a definite purple tinge to the colour scheme.

There def seems a purple tint off the car, even in the vid. Its prob just the lighting though, or else its a two tone jobbie :eek:

The purple is the Corporate colour of Infiniti,it's not just the light.

Interesting that they've foregone the modesty panel on the nose and kept the step.

No,they've added the purple this year as Infiniti are a major sponsor. It was just a RB logo with navy background on the side pods last year.

I read that RBR were stopping people taking pics of the car. I'd say the RB9 was already on the way to Spain. I suspect the car at the launch was last years car with a few new bits and pieces on it.

The full resolution is here. They have to be hiding something. Interesting detail around the exhaust, but that will be a fake. 'Monkey seat' is new, but hardly earth shattering. And the only other real change is the slot gone out of the nose.

And the way Merc has done this web launch nonsense is probably evidence that they have something up their sleeve too and they want to keep the car as far away from scrutiny for as long as possible.

I'd wager any new tricks won't see the light of day in Jerez either. Probably have to wait till the last test or Melbourne to have any idea whats going on with any of the top cars. So long away.
