    Hi,
interested in trying this but need a simple list of the equipment needed. I have waded through a couple of threads but its not clear what exactly is needed. My take is that I need 3D glasses,a 3D capable monitor, a 3d capable graphics card AND a 3d game. Are ALL these essential or are some optional. In terms of the monitor what are the exact requirements. I have 6 LCD displays of varying age and am not sure if any of them will do, or do I need to buy a dedicated 3D monitor.
    TIA John

    Hi.

To be honest I'd put off investing in 3d glasses or 3d gaming at the moment.

There is a new technology called oculus rift that is going to blow current 3d gaming out of the water.

It's still a year or 2 off being commercially available but developers are jumping on board with it.

If you are set on going 3d now then you will need a monitor/tv that can do 120hz, preferably an nvidia graphics card and the nvidia 3d glasses.

All games can be played in 3d.

I wouldn't worry about it. Oculus rift still has some way to go before it's widely available and it's really only going to be good for first person games where as standard 3d can be used for everything.
