    asus and lenovo have a good reputation for quality builds ...

    see if there are reviews on these laptops

    They're all the same, more or less. The devil is in the details, even with budget laptops... the Lenovo and the Tosh claim a better battery life, some cheap WLAN adapters have serious connectivity issues, if video chat is important to you, a 0.3 MP webcam is rather poor (see if you find detailed specs at the manufacturers websites).

    As for in-depth reviews (performance, display and build quality, etc), try notebookcheck.com.

    I tried to find some reviews before. Most positive were for the Asus so I think I'll go with that one. After hours online I can't find anything better.
