Mods, if this is going too far, feel free to delete.
I'd imagine if previous claims by some golfers (eg Gary Player) about drug use in pro golf are to be believed, this is likely only the tip of the iceberg.

A spray that can make you big and strong? Sounds like something that should be on an infomercial at 2 in the morning.

Sounds like a silly thing to be doing if you know it's not allowed. I know fitmess and golf specific weight training has become part of modern professional golf but surely the need for a bit more distance doesn't require drug use.

Surely though the idea of a substance that you spray under your tongue every few hours to help you build muscle mass would seem suspicious to most people, I mean FFS athletes can't even take some over the counter cough medicines for fear of testing positive. What was he thinking.
    The mind boggles.

I'd have some sympathy for the man if it was a bloody Actimel that contained a banned substance.

But not clarifying that Deer Antler Spray was ok to use is something else.

I'd ask him if he honestly thought that he didn't think it would be a problem.
If he answered yes, I'd double the ban....just for being an eejit.

Got banned there myself recently won 3 events in a row ,pulling up too ffs
Must have been all those Findus Lasagna's over the holidays
    Won by 2 furlongs.........

On a serious note the onus is on the athlete to know what there putting into their body,no top athlete would take an over the counter cough bottle without checking is it ok with their governing body

Is that not all, in most gyms ?

Unfortunately the apparatus he was using to build his swing strength is not in mine, or maybe just the attachment to the apparatus to enable him to do those exercises.
