Medical card - with widowers pension and part time work

    Long story short, my dad wants to return to part time employment and I want to know if he can retain his medical card

    He currently receives a widowers pension and needs his medical card due to the cost of the medication he's on

    Can anybody give me any advice on what he can earn (combining the widowers pension and part time job salary) and still retain his medical card?

    I've tried looking through the various sites and can't find anything about the combination
