wireless router

    can someone help me with this?....

    can i use a K4505 SIM unlocked USB stick in a wireless router for internet?

    or what is the best way to get 3.ie sim to work in a wireless router.

    i am using mifi at the moment which gives internet but i cannot network from pc to pc or smartphone to smart tv!

    HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:mad:

    If you have an old PC you can leave running use that to host the dongle and then use ICS(Internet connection sharing) to bridge that over to a router.

    You'll never get great pings and probably not speeds either, but it'd work.

    i tried that but speed is 1-2mbps and with router i get 4-5mbps as i am in meath.

    any other ways?

    When you say router do you mean the mifi unit?

    Yeah, dongles are junk.

    You could do:

    Mifi - laptop --(ICS via cable)--proper router--Other device 1
    ............................................................|-Other device 2
    ............................................................|-Other device 3
    ............................................................|-Other device 4
    ............................................................|-
