    Hi,

I'd be delighted to hear of any experience people have of the following:

I have been offered a small amount of equity in a startup company (based in the UK) in part payment for services I have provided. I was just wondering if there are tax implications of taking up the offer?

In that, is there a tax liability on the equity/shares I would take or does that appear in future if I sell my stake?

    Thanks

A question beyond the scope of this forum I'm afraid.
