Hi,I will be ACA qualified in a few months and would be interested in working in investment management when I finish up,I have worked in financial services audit of a big 4 firm for three years and have worked predominantly on funds. I was wondering if anyone could give me any advice on how they got into investment management?are there additional courses I should do?will post qualification experience be necessary and if so,how long/what type of experience?any other advice would be much appreciated, thanks

In terms of qualifications, the CFA is the only one to consider. You should sign up to take level 1 in December.

As far as jobs go, there aren't all that many in Ireland. Keep a look out for entry level jobs advertised (and grad programmes) but you might have to consider a move to London to get a start.
