I wonder does everyone in South Kerry speak like the Healy-Rae's?

Tuned in by accident, it's painful, I'd expect it from FOX on a republican party candidate but a fluff piece for the Healy Raes is painful.

The Healy-Rae's are to South Kerry what Pee Flynn was to Castlebar. They look after their own communities at the expense of the rest of the country

Parish pump politics at its worst.

Are the council elections coming up soon?

I think we should have a Healy Rae drinking game. Knock back a shot every time one of them blames their reputation on " the pee-pull and the journalists above up in Dublin. "

Langersville here we come ! Yee Haw ! :D

Ta MrsD. I thought maybe it was this year with all the publicity they're getting.

I hate the way tackling the problem of rural isolation always seems to be reduced to access to a pub or giving them a pass on drink-driving. Of course it'd be very cynical of me to assume that councillors who had vested interest in pubs might have an ulterior motive apparently.
