Lookin for female singer to kick Start a concept I've had brewin
For a while. I have a particular idea for a band but I know this would only be a starting point and would prefer to broaden the scope with a creative collaboration.

I'm already in a band as bass player, but spend most my time writing on and playing guitar, Would like to put this to good use...

My playing style is heavily blues influenced( but not limited to blues), raw and gritty, far from perfect... I'd love to combine/balance the sound with a soulful, even jazzy vocal. I'm not a jazz player, but also want to stress that this isn't a blues-rock thing. Ultimately I'd like to progress to adding percussive elements and possibly electro touches (if it works!) with additional members.

All these ideas are essentially just rough sketches of the band I have in mind, but nothing's set in stone and I'm open to ideas.

In terms of age, late twenties/early thirties upwards - but no ultimatums or expectations in this regard.

Location is Dublin 18, so closer the better, but again, no limits here.

Creativity and commitment essential.

Why do you only want female vocals,
is this due to the material you write?

Not so much down to the material I write - tunes could be sung m/f, and Im flexible in terms of adapting lyrics, just lookin for female singer as I have it as part of an overall idea for a band.

i'm actually a drummer, but like you i was writing lyrics to melodies and now concidering singing, best of luck mate.
