CANON 7D REPAIR

    Out of nowhere I got the dreaded "card cannot be accessed" message on my CANON 7D. I've checked the card on another camera and it's not that, I checked the pins and they look perfect too, so I'm guessing it might be the cold weather as I had it exposed in a cold room in a house and maybe that affected it.

    Can anyone recommend place in Ireland or UK that will repair it, (Im guessing they'll replace the pin board anyway) or whatever the problem is and would it cost much?

    Have you tried formatting the card in the other camera and trying it in the 7D? Have you tried a different card altogether?

    Yes, tried 2 other CF cards, and got the same message and tried thise same cards on anotehr camera and no probs, so unfortunately it's something with the camera.

    Zeromamster is the man to see. He is excellent to deal and does good work. I have had a few items fixed by him and know a few others and all would highly recommend him.
