Im looking for some advice, my diet isnt the best and although Im slowly changing it by trying new fruit and veg on a daily basis, I am definitely missing out on a few essential vitamins/minerals and would feel better taking a multivitamin to boost me up a bit. I know the thinking is that your diet alone should be enough but the market is so saturated I dont know where to start and Im someone who for most of my life didnt eat ANY veg and fruit only in smoothies..

Any recommendations on the best multi vitamin product out there for men, thanks in advance people. :D

Honestly, I don't think it matters. Go for a recognised brand over some dodgy Chinese import and I think you should be fine.

I don't really understand your comment about a saturated market though. Walk into Tesco/Superquinn/Whatever and buy a bunch of different vegetables. Throw them into a stirfry or roast them in the oven and eat them. What's the obstacle?

If you were really missing vitamins you would have symptoms. Are you displaying any symptoms. For example white spots on your nails can be a sign of low calcium.

To be honest, i dont really know many symptoms, but if you eat a varied diet you will get 99% of the vitamins you need. A google search of what each vitamin does will tell you more.

If you notice something specific about your self ie -tiredness, flakey skin, always getting colds etc then google it and learn if it is a vitamin deficiency that causes it.

You can get decent vitamins from lidl and aldi for very cheap. and they are equal to the stuff you get in a health food store for a fraction of the cost dont be fooled by the advertising of major brands.

If you are still worried, but a cheap multi vit an take one a day.

theres no magic pill or anything

but i do take centrum every day. the main reason why i keep taking it is i get alot less colds/flu than i used too. before i took them id be sniffeling and have head and normals colds alot. but since then my diet has improved hugely so maybe i could go without them but i do feel i miss out on some vitamins from various sources
