I have tested this binoculars together with: Hawke Frontier ED 8x43, Minox BL 8x44, Steiner Ranger Pro 8x42, Leupold Olympic 8x42, Nikon Monarch 8x42, Kaps 8x42 and Sightron SIII 8x43 LR.

Vipers HD are the smallest, the lightest, have the best eye cups - especially important if you ware eyeglasses and have the highest build quality. However the offer less field of view than others and are optically not as good as Sightron or Hawke.

If you look for a small and handy pair of binoculars go for them.

I just bought a pair of the new Nikon Monarch 7's in 10x42 they would be my choice again if i was buying and would be what i would advise you to get they are very light, very compact, the optics are amazing, and the field of view is great too. If you are around dubin you are more than welcome to have a look at mine. They have ED glass in them which is what they use in their high end camera lenses the binoculars with this glass usually start at the $2000 mark.
There is another review i read a few weeks ago when i was buying them comparing them to the vortex and bushnell i'll try and find it. they came out on top anyway.
Iforgot to add the most important thing they are also amazing in low light. I was'nt expecting them to be as good as they are when i was buying the.
    :)

They were E584 from astroshop.eu in germany, I found a company selling them in the uk selling them for £359 for the 10x42 but they are out of stock in the 10x42 and only have the 8x42 in stock which are £329. That is the cheapest price I have seen them going for they are E707 from nikon they were selling them for 750 when i first looked.
