Sorry this is another help me pick a car thread - any help appreciated.

My budget is €5000+ a trade in of an 02 Seat Ibiza, petrol, with 95K miles on the clock.
My ideal wish list would be:
    Year: 2004 or newer
    Engine Size: 1.2 > 1.6
    Millage: 60k Miles or less

I really like the Peugeot 206 CC and would rather a Cabriolet / Coupe to a saloon/hatchback.
I much prefer smaller cars and don’t need a family car so want something fun but don't want to be hammered with tax.

I do between 200/300 miles a week – mainly city driving.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks

My fiancee has a 206cc. It's a great car, but the electrics are shabby and there are a lot of things to look out for buying used. We've never had any mechanical failures, but there's a lot of new electrics gone in (some under warranty). At the very least, read up on Peugeot's com2000 issues and look for that on a test drive. Also check the rubber around the roof thoroughly.

I would strongly suggest you go over to http://www.peugeot206cc.co.uk/ and ask those guys for a checklist for viewing used cars. The board is full of enthusiasts and mechanics who know the car.

If a particular car seems cheaper than the rest, there's a reason for it.
