    While i was studying i wasnt working- now im working but not earning enough to pay tax. Is there any point in my claiming this?

    Not unless you were paying fees and working in a job that caused you to pay tax in the same tax year.

    If you did'nt pay tax, you cannot claim any refund. However an immediate family member who did pay tax could claim.

    I would assume the OP paid the fees - Therefore only they can claim!

    That is fraud, only the person who paid the fees can claim the tax relief on it.
