Just wondering if anyone knows if KBC still allow you to put in lump sums into your mortgage and withdraw them at a later date?

    Thanks

You cant use your mortgage like a current account. However most banks will have facility for a mortgage top-up, subject to the normal rules of credit worthiness, sustainability and satisfactory LTV. Whether or not you have made top-up payments is irrelevant.

    Thanks,

Spoke with KBC, and they do have an overpayment and redraw facility. Simple process to overpay, either by monthly payment, or lump sum or however you wish.

The redraw facility however is subject to meeting current lending criteria, so its not just a simple case of requesting back the overpayment you put in.
