    Hi all,

I just paid off a loan in full and the balance is now obviously €0.00 - just wondering how long does it take for that account to disappear from my online banking?

    Thanks

It wont. You can however remove or unlink it yourself.

    How do you do this?

Login, then on left hand side of the screen go to "MANAGE MY ACCOUNTS",
select "DELETE ACCOUNTS" and press "START" , select the account from the dropdown box then "NEXT"...

That doesn't work - only lets me select my credit card account.

Maybe theres a minimum time limit before the account can be removed?
Failing that your could just ring AIB and ask them to remove it for you.

As far as I know you need to contact AIB and have them close it after they take last bit of interest which is calculated daily - will be a couple of euro and they will take it from current account.

I think you need to contact them to have it closed off.
